Clemons Library Summer Circulation Assistant (Student Wage)
About The Position
Clemons Library at the University of Virginia is seeking a student Circulation Assistant to provide summer staffing help in the weeks leading up to the start of the Fall semester. This position can potentially continue into the 2026-27 school year. The role involves providing customer service at the Clemons 4th floor main desk, checking out and in library materials, answering general informational questions, and offering basic IT support for printers and desktop computers. This is a part-time position, with potential work hours available during weekdays and weekends. Applicants must be current UVA students and able to start in early August.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the Clemons 4th floor main desk.
- Check out books, videos, and equipment items to patrons.
- Answer general informational questions.
- Check in returned materials and organize and re-shelve them.
