About The Position
The Senior Consultant joins Capgemini Invent’s Business Technology team, which aligns with CIO agendas and helps organizations shape large-scale technology transformations. The team supports strategy-led work involving major enterprise technology investments and multi-year transformation roadmaps, including platform strategy, IT and AI operating models, and enterprise transformation. Engagements may be board-facing and business-critical, bringing business strategy and technology decisions together. The role leads client workstreams focused on modernizing enterprise technology platforms and operating models, with an emphasis on AI-enabled transformation. The consultant partners with senior technology leaders to develop pragmatic, value-driven strategies that embed AI into core platforms, and translates architectural considerations into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans. The role also owns client deliverables, contributes to team leadership and mentoring, and drives execution quality across engagements. The work is supported by an AI-enabled consulting model that uses analytics, automation, and generative AI to augment human judgment. Capgemini describes the Strategy and Transformation practice as helping clients innovate and develop strategies, services, and products; design and implement business and operating models; and develop customer insights, organizational knowledge, and market perspectives. The Business Technology team is growing capabilities in cloud strategy, AI architecture, and CIO advisory, with an emphasis on innovation, AI enablement, and modern operating models.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in technology strategy, architecture, or management consulting.
- Strong foundation in platform strategy, enterprise architecture, and transformation roadmaps.
- Working knowledge of cloud strategy and its operating model implications.
- AI landscape fluency and ability to design practical enablement approaches and guardrails.
- Executive-ready communication skills and strong client presence.
- Comfort owning workstreams and leading teams in complex environments.
- Strong AI literacy, including core AI and generative AI concepts, and understanding of their application to enterprise transformation.
- Ability to identify and support AI-enabled opportunities that improve business outcomes and delivery effectiveness.
- Experience using AI-augmented ways of working to enhance research, analysis, and solution development.
- Ability to collaborate across strategy, technology, data, and design to enable AI-driven solutions.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, including ethics, privacy, security, and governance.
- Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset about emerging AI capabilities and their practical application in client environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams across platform strategy, IT strategy, and operating model design.
- Facilitate workshops with CIO, CTO, and CISO leaders to drive alignment and decisions.
- Build board-ready roadmaps and investment cases tied to outcomes and value.
- Integrate AI enablement into platform and operating model strategies.
- Translate architecture constraints into practical sequencing and delivery approaches.
- Coach junior team members and ensure quality under tight timelines.
- Own key client deliverables and drive execution excellence across engagements.
- Partner with senior technology leaders to shape strategies that embed AI into core platforms.
