About The Position

The Cinematographer, Integrated Media is responsible for the visual execution of video content supporting marketing campaigns, product feature content, lifestyle productions, social content, brand storytelling, and internal communications. This role leads cinematography from pre-production through final delivery, translating creative direction into compelling visual storytelling through expert camera work, lighting, composition, and production execution. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading productions, working independently with minimal crew, and remaining hands-on throughout every stage of production. Working closely with Creative Directors, Producers, and Editors, the Cinematographer is responsible for maintaining the creative and visual integrity of every production while helping advance Belkin's production capabilities through emerging technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and continuous innovation. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of creative leadership, hands-on production, and emerging technology, bringing a passion for visual storytelling and a curiosity for continually evolving the craft through both traditional filmmaking and AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in commercial, branded, corporate, or agency video production.
  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating exceptional cinematography, lighting, visual storytelling, and high-end production quality.
  • Advanced expertise in professional cinema cameras, lighting systems, grip, audio, camera movement, and production workflows.
  • Proven ability to independently execute productions while working effectively with minimal crew in a highly hands-on production environment.
  • Strong understanding of editorial workflows, visual continuity, color management, and professional color grading.
  • Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging generative AI tools and AI-assisted production workflows, with the ability to quickly evaluate and adopt emerging technologies.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple productions while maintaining exceptional creative and technical standards.

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Cinematographer across campaign, product feature, lifestyle, social, and internal productions.
  • Translate creative concepts into compelling visual storytelling through cinematography, lighting, composition, camera movement, and lens selection.
  • Lead technical production planning, including lighting design, equipment selection, production logistics, and on-set execution.
  • Thrive in a lean production environment by remaining hands-on throughout every stage of production, including camera operation, lighting, grip, audio, equipment setup, and set preparation.
  • Direct talent and interviews when appropriate, shaping performance, pacing, and visual storytelling to achieve the intended creative vision.
  • Exercise sound creative and technical judgment while independently solving production challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Partner closely with Creative Directors, Producers, Editors, Marketing Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout production.
  • Provide creative oversight throughout post-production, working closely with editors to ensure the final edit, pacing, visual continuity, and overall image quality faithfully execute the intended creative vision.
  • Perform DIT responsibilities, including media offload, checksum verification, file organization, backup, and archiving to ensure secure, production-ready media management.
  • Manage review and collaboration workflows using Frame.io and related cloud-based production tools.
  • Lead the color finishing process by establishing the visual look of each project, performing color correction and grading when appropriate, developing project-specific LUTs, and ensuring consistent image quality across all deliverables.
  • Integrate AI tools and emerging technologies into production workflows, including concept development, storyboarding, virtual production, image generation, compositing, environment creation, and production optimization.
  • Continually evaluate new production technologies and recommend workflows that improve creative quality, efficiency, and the studio's overall capabilities.
  • Maintain, organize, and manage cinema cameras, lenses, lighting, grip, audio, and production equipment, ensuring all gear is production-ready and recommending future equipment investments.
  • Uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship, production quality, organization, and on-set safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
  • Follow all Belkin policies, procedures, and applicable ISO requirements.
