KeyBank•Brooklyn, OH
•$71,000 - $125,000

About The Position

The Client Identity and Access Management (CIAM) Product Manager – Capabilities & Intelligence leads execution of KeyBank’s CIAM strategy by owning capabilities, intelligence services, and fraud-detection tools that support authentication across client channels. The role serves as product owner and subject matter expert for device intelligence, behavioral analytics, session monitoring, fraud telemetry, and authentication intelligence tooling, with the goal of strengthening fraud detection while reducing unnecessary authentication friction. The Product Manager partners with Fraud, Security, Data & Analytics, Technology, and channel-aligned Product Managers to convert attack patterns and intelligence signals into authentication controls, insights, and measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities include maintaining capability roadmaps, optimizing tools and detection policies, defining metrics and reporting, enabling operational use of intelligence, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring intelligence signals are integrated into authentication flows and real-time decisioning. The role also supports CIAM standards and annual capability review and attestation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, identity and access management, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, digital identity, analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with authentication technologies, fraud-detection solutions, identity intelligence platforms, or risk-decisioning capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, identity verification, account takeover prevention, risk-based authentication, and fraud-detection concepts.
  • Experience translating business, fraud, and security objectives into product requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fraud-detection or authentication-intelligence solutions such as LexisNexis ThreatMetrix, BioCatch, iovation, Memcyco, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience tuning fraud policies, thresholds, rules, or detection models and evaluating false-positive and false-negative tradeoffs.
  • Experience with authentication metrics, data analytics, dashboarding, link analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Familiarity with authentication orchestration and Agile product delivery.
  • Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of digital banking, commercial banking, branch, and contact-center authentication patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the CIAM program and standards through implementation and optimization of authentication intelligence capabilities; support annual review and attestation; and maintain alignment with enterprise fraud, security, risk, and client-experience objectives.
  • Own and serve as the subject matter expert for device intelligence, behavioral analytics, session monitoring, fraud telemetry, and risk-based authentication controls.
  • Develop and maintain the capability roadmap for CIAM tools and supporting services; identify and prioritize opportunities; and define business outcomes, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Optimize CIAM intelligence platforms and capabilities, including LexisNexis, Memcyco, NuDetect during transition, and future tools; tune detection models, risk policies, signals, and decision thresholds; and measure detection coverage, false positives, and client friction.
  • Establish an operating rhythm for platform health, policy review, tuning, testing, and performance validation.
  • Analyze account takeover, phishing, impersonation, social engineering, and emerging fraud trends; partner with fraud and security teams to understand attacks and control effectiveness; and translate intelligence into policies, controls, signal use, and orchestration recommendations.
  • Support post-event analysis to assess available signals, policy performance, and remaining control gaps.
  • Partner with CIAM leadership to define and maintain metrics for security effectiveness, client friction, adoption, reliability, and operational performance.
  • Coordinate with Data & Analytics, Technology, and platform teams on data requirements, collection, reporting pipelines, and dashboards; analyze trends and recommend roadmap priorities, control improvements, and investments.
  • Drive operational use of CIAM-generated intelligence and develop use cases involving device and identity correlation, link analysis, threat intelligence, and authentication telemetry.
  • Partner with Fraud, Cyber Defense, and data teams to improve visibility into potentially malicious devices, infrastructure, sessions, and attack patterns; help make data accessible and suitable for investigation and decision support.
  • Serve as day-to-day product subject matter expert for CIAM capability vendors; track vendor roadmaps and releases; translate capabilities into internal use cases and adoption plans; and partner with CIAM leadership on evaluations and planning.
  • Ensure CIAM intelligence signals are integrated into authentication flows and real-time decisioning; partner with the Transmit squad and channel Product Managers on responses such as allow, monitor, step-up, restrict, or block.
  • Bring capability and intelligence demand through the CIAM Product Council for prioritization before work enters the Transmit backlog, and support reusable cross-channel patterns where practical.
