About The Position

JCITA provides a full spectrum of joint and advanced counterintelligence training, which includes CI operations, collections, investigations, functional services, and analysis. JCITA is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and adheres to COE standards. JCITA offers in-residence courses, mobile training teams, and distance/distributed learning opportunities; courses include rigorous student assessments to meet strict instructional design standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience conducting, instructing, and/or supervising OFCO.
• Served as an OFCO case officer with experience conducting the full operational cycle.
• Graduate from an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school.
• Graduate of the Joint Counterintelligence Training Activity (JCITA) Advanced Foreign CI Operations Course (AFCIOC) or a legacy training course offered by the Military Departments including Army Advanced Foreign Counterintelligence Training Course (AFCITC), the Air Force Counterespionage Case Officer’s Course, or the Navy Counterespionage Operations Course.
• MA/MS degree.
• Active TS security clearance and be eligible for SCI clearance with a poly or the ability to take one.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an Executive Case Officer, Team Chief, or Operations Officer.

Responsibilities

• Teach the Advanced Foreign Counterintelligence Operations Course (AFCIOC) and Advanced Operations Seminar.
• Conduct classroom and practical exercises that frequently exceed 8-hour days.
• Work after hours and weekends.
• Travel inside the NCR and within CONUS.
