About The Position

This is a FULL-TIME staff position. The Church Planter is responsible for preparing themselves for church planting through regular development via coaching and self-led reading/studying, and completing assessments and necessary trainings. They will also prepare the church as an organization by creating initial organizational documents, and developing a church budget, vision statements, and materials. Additionally, the role involves preparing people to be a church through regular meetings and recruitment of a core team, shepherding the core team during the transition to a new church, engaging in evangelism and outreach in the community, and recruiting and developing key positions. Travel may be required for planting preparations.

Requirements

• Cornerstone Church Membership (you and your spouse, if applicable) is required. As members, you are under the leadership of our elders and will be expected to demonstrate faithfulness in attending, serving, giving, and living in your local church.
