About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Chronic Care Registered Nurse to join their team at Western Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Saint Joseph, Missouri. This role involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, assessing their physical, psychological, and social needs, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. The position operates under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
Requirements
- Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Associates Degree required
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Chronic Care experience preferred
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Identifying, assessing, and responding to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
