About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Chronic Care Nurse LPN to join their team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The Chronic Care Nurse is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
Requirements
- Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain license
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Responding to a range of physical and mental health needs under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff.
