About The Position

The team member must follow all safety policies and procedures while monitoring and maintaining proper water quality for all discharged water. This role is responsible for recycling chrome for reuse, performing equipment maintenance, and completing necessary repairs. The team member must understand and support personal safety, compliance, and legal requirements; be willing to cross-train in other departments; work nights, weekends, and flexible hours; learn the chemical and mechanical filtration system; and communicate effectively with multiple departments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of Hides Tannery experience preferred.
Maintenance background required.
Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Must pass the respiratory exam.
SCBA certification is required.
Must be self-motivated.
Ability to lift more than 70 lbs.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
