About The Position
To coordinate and support the effective operation of the Christmas program distribution center by organizing space, directing volunteers, and assisting with the distribution and movement of gifts.
Requirements
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
- Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain Christmas program distribution space
- Direct volunteers in organizing the distribution center, loading and unloading of trucks, and moving gifts to appropriate areas
- Assist with gift distribution, late assistance and moving out of building
- Other duties as assigned
