About The Position

The Christmas Coordinator is responsible for managing the Christmas kettle campaign and supporting other programs and activities. This role involves responding to inquiries about bell ringing, recruiting bell ringers, and establishing and maintaining kettle site work schedules. The coordinator will also resolve scheduling conflicts, arrange for contingencies, and assist in preparing bell ringing reports and statistics. Additionally, they will provide customer service at kettle locations, lead or arrange for daily devotions, and perform other assigned duties. Additional responsibilities include driving kettle routes to deliver and pick up kettles, checking on bell ringers, and transporting them as needed. The role also involves arranging for the placement and collection of counter kettles.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • At least 18 years old
  • 1-year informal supervisory experience
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers’ license with a chauffeur’s endorsement
  • Pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
  • Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed

Responsibilities
