Christian Youth Worker (Bullard, TX)
About The Position
The Mentoring Alliance is seeking ministry-minded individuals to join their After School team as a Christian Youth Worker. This part-time, non-exempt position averages 17-20 hours per week and focuses on fostering youth development in an after-school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. The organization is a Christian ministry dedicated to serving kids and students in the community by providing after-school care and activities. Mentoring Alliance aims to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, offering tangible help and eternal hope. Every staff position, including the Christian Youth Worker, is considered an integral part of their mission and vision, and the role is seen as a Minister of the Gospel.
Requirements
- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Have dependable transportation
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Some post-secondary training highly preferred
- Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
