About The Position

Responsible for accompanying the chorus for rehearsals and concerts. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in music or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The position involves accompanying the director during rehearsals and concerts, providing high-quality customer service, and adhering to Wheaton Park District policies and guidelines. Maintaining safety awareness and following all safety procedures are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in music or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Must have good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Must have and maintain: valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; and CPR/AED certified or obtain within ninety (90) days of employment.
• Be a "Mandated Reporter" for the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act.

Responsibilities

• Accompanies the director during rehearsals and concerts.
• Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
• Follow the Wheaton Park District policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Proactively support the Districts Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Maintain good safety awareness and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
