About The Position
Chaminade College Preparatory seeks a dynamic, innovative, and engaging CHORAL MUSIC TEACHER with great classroom management skills for our high school campus in West Hills, California. The Choral Music Teacher is responsible for classroom choral music instruction and for directing all choral performing groups and ensembles. This is a full-time position. At Chaminade our faculty enjoy being part of a team that is setting the standard in Catholic education. We are a 1:1 laptop school and faculty must be comfortable integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning. Chaminade faculty collaborate with colleagues to maximize student learning and are themselves lifelong learners.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
- Faculty must be comfortable integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree and/or teaching credential is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a Catholic educational setting is strongly preferred.
