About The Position
The Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority (ADEA) is seeking a full-time permanent High School Teacher for Father Porte Memorial Dene School (FPMDS) in Black Lake, Saskatchewan. FPMDS serves approximately 300 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. This role involves contributing to student achievement, fostering a strong school community, and promoting education rooted in Denesuline culture and community values. The teacher will report to the Principal and/or Vice Principal and is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting school improvement, collaborating with colleagues, and pursuing professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Related experience, including work with First Nations students in a remote community, is an asset.
