Chiropractor
About The Position
This per diem position requires flexibility to cover open shifts at two clinical sites: La Habra and Lake Elsinore. The Chiropractor provides outpatient care, evaluating and diagnosing patients and performing manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations to address musculoskeletal conditions. The role works with other VCC medical practitioners, supports quality assurance, and contributes to clinic protocols and procedures that promote quality chiropractic care. The Chiropractor also counsels patients on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and treatment options, and provides training to clinic staff to support patient care.
Requirements
- Current California chiropractic license.
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic school.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience or familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel), business email, communication systems, and internet search capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Direct and provide outpatient care to clinic patients, ensuring appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, and care.
- Examine patients of all ages for signs of injury, disease, or abnormality, with awareness of signs and symptoms of general health conditions.
- Evaluate and diagnose patients and perform manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations to correct the musculoskeletal system.
- Work with other VCC medical practitioners to treat health problems associated with the muscular, nervous, and skeletal systems.
- Counsel patients about nutrition, exercise, stress management, and recommended courses of treatment.
- Liaise with other medical practitioners and share care as needed for patients with chronic conditions.
- Participate in and support quality assurance programs.
- Provide training to clinic staff to facilitate better patient care.
- Participate in developing clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality chiropractic care.
