About The Position

The Chip Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of wood residual fiber products throughout Washington and Idaho. This role includes conducting vehicle inspections, loading and unloading product, securing loads, completing electronic logs, and operating in compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Success in this position requires a commitment to safety, professionalism, equipment care, and reliable service.

Requirements

Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
2 years of trucking experience preferred
Winter mountain driving experience preferred
Clean driver’s abstract (please attach with the application)
Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing.
Ability to enter Canada for work purposes

Responsibilities

Conduct pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, road worthiness and regulatory compliance.
Load and unload wood residual fiber products in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure safe transportation of freight by securing goods while loading and unloading.
Tarp vehicle using manual or auto tarps as available.
Chain-up vehicle based on road conditions.
Complete all electronic records regarding working hours, vehicle status and maintenance records using the industry’s best fleet management system, ISAAC.
Ensure trucks are left clean and safe at the end of each shift.
