About The Position

The Chip Runner is responsible for acknowledging and greeting customers and guests in a friendly, warm, and courteous manner. This role involves running chips, markers, and checks, as well as buying chips for patrons and dealers when necessary. The Chip Runner will assist in obtaining chips for new or converted games and must always be aware of empty seats, informing the Floorperson as needed. Key responsibilities include verifying collections and amounts at designated times, ensuring the practice of "echoing" is done in tandem with Dealers, and becoming familiar with "regular" players, their initials, and their preferred games. The Chip Runner must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times and perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Casino Shift Manager. The hourly wage for this position is $16.90 per hour. "ECHO" is a critical part of the chip runner's position, ensuring that the Dealer or Floorperson was heard when they called for chips, card set-up, or other services. For example, if a dealer or floorperson calls for chips on table 17, the chip runner will echo back, “chips on 17”. This practice must be followed at all times without exception. We will never communicate with you via text message to discuss or schedule job interviews. We will never ask you for any personal information over the phone, via email, or via text.

Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Must perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Casino Shift Manager.
Must understand and implement the "echo" procedure at all times without exception.
