Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in asphalt construction, paving, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
Proven success supervising teams and/or leading traveling crews.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Willingness to travel and work flexible, non-traditional hours as projects require.
Professional, courteous, and adaptable—ready to represent our company with pride.

Nice To Haves

Experience with budget management is a plus—or a willingness to learn.
Strong leadership skills: ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
Excellent communication: skilled at building rapport, giving feedback, and resolving issues positively.

Responsibilities

Champion a culture of safety—enforce all safety protocols and ensure the use of proper tools and equipment for every task.
Lead and supervise your crew, delegating tasks efficiently and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Support your team with hands-on work, including shoveling, raking, and safely guiding trucks during paving operations.
Oversee the preparation and placement of construction materials, as well as the setup and removal of traffic control devices.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and company leadership regarding safety concerns, project progress, and personnel matters.
Promote the company’s values and interests in all aspects of your work, ensuring professionalism and integrity at every step.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure project success.
