About The Position

The Chip Line Coordinator is responsible for organizing and directing personnel on production lines, operating machinery, reviewing work orders, and ensuring all required materials and supplies are available. This role schedules equipment changeovers, performs line clearances, audits completed orders, and supports Packaging team members through training and troubleshooting. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with management, maintenance, and peers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all Plant, State, and Federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF.
  • Inspect product quality, avoiding the use of damaged or defective materials.
  • Package finished product to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Verify code dates for accuracy, visibility, and legibility.
  • Ensure correct case counts and pallet configurations.
  • Follow all quality assurance, food safety, and SQF procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
  • Maintain compliance with the company’s quality system and food safety requirements.
  • Perform line clearances and assist with equipment changeovers.
  • Audit completed orders for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support and training to Packaging team members, including troubleshooting assistance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
