About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Chimney & Masonry Apprentices for projects located in or around Portage, IN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $22-$25/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

• Previous chimney, masonry, concrete, construction, or restoration experience preferred
• Candidates with concrete, bricklaying, masonry, or related construction experience are encouraged to apply
• Willingness to learn and develop new trade skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform chimney inspections and chimney sweeping services
• Assist with fireplace and chimney liner installations
• Complete concrete crown repairs and chimney waterproofing
• Perform tuckpointing, bricklaying, and masonry repairs
• Install chimney caps and chase covers
• Assist with flashing repairs and complete chimney rebuilds
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Support experienced technicians with repair and restoration projects
