About The Position

Chimney Concepts is actively seeking an enthusiastic full-time Chimney Mason Apprentice to assist our masons with repairs and services on our clients' chimneys. This masonry apprentice position earns a competitive wage of $23 - $30/hour, depending on experience. This position comes with the opportunity to learn a trade and become a skilled bricklayer or mason. We are an efficient and reliable team of chimney and fireplace professionals with a focus on customer service, safety, and satisfaction. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift heavy items and work with heights
Ready to learn a trade and begin a career
Eager to learn new things and improve
Positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team
Organized and detail-oriented
Excellent time management and communication skills

Responsibilities

Assist masons with various masonry tasks such as mixing mortar and concrete, setting up ladders, transferring materials, setting up scaffolding, and other daily duties.
Drive vehicles as well as carefully load and unload materials from each vehicle.
Use power tools to cut brick and grind mortar joints.
Keep the job site and company vehicles clean and organized.
