About The Position

This position involves transferring tubs of product ready for aging from the line to a pallet, shoveling ice into tubs, attaching lids, and stacking tubs. The role also includes retrieving empty tubs, placing them under a chute, and filling them with breast meat. Additionally, the Chiller Rehanger will transfer pallets of product to the aging room using an electric pallet jack and rehang birds from a conveyor line, hanging both legs into shackles at a rate of 23 birds per minute. This is a night shift position with differential pay for evening and late-night hours.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+ hours) on a concrete/steel platform.
• Must be able to use small hand-held tools such as knives and scissors.
• Must be able to perform repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling motions, torso twisting, and lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Able to work in a cold, warm, or wet environment.
• Able to work around moving equipment.

Responsibilities
