About The Position

The Chiller Rehanger Labor team member is responsible for removing chilled poultry products from the chiller system and rehanging birds onto processing line shackles to ensure proper product flow throughout the production process. This position is essential to maintaining production efficiency while meeting Tyson Foods' standards for food safety, quality, and workplace safety. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Responsibilities

  • Remove poultry products from the chiller system and accurately rehang birds onto moving conveyor shackles.
  • Ensure birds are properly positioned to support downstream processing operations.
  • Monitor product flow and communicate any issues that may impact production efficiency.
  • Maintain line speed requirements while adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Identify and remove product that does not meet quality specifications as directed.
  • Follow all food safety, quality assurance, animal welfare, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Assist with product handling and other production duties as assigned by management.
  • Participate in job rotations and cross-training assignments as needed.
  • Support team production goals while working in a fast-paced processing environment.
