About The Position

Mad Science is hiring a part-time Children's Instructor with a non-traditional schedule. The ideal candidate is flexible, creative, engaging, and possesses excellent verbal communication skills. They should love children, science, teaching, and/or acting, own a car, and thrive in environments that offer both support and autonomy. This role is exciting for those who embrace the gig economy and enjoy variety and non-traditional work schedules. Mad Science is a team of STEM enthusiasts who make science fun and interactive for children aged Pre-K to 6th grade. They believe in working smart, having a good time, and collaborating to ensure students and families have a thrilling learning experience. The job is different and offers a unique opportunity to work 2-5 days a week between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM.

Requirements

Flexible, creative, engaging, and have excellent verbal communication skills.
Love children, science, teaching and/or acting.

Responsibilities

Drive to a school, daycare, or park and rec center.
Lead an immersive and interactive science lesson (workshops, day camps, week-long camps, etc.) after receiving extensive paid training.
