About The Position

Tahoe Donner Association is looking for fun and high-energy Cross-Country Children’s Ski Instructors to join our cross-country operations! The Children’s Ski Instructors are responsible for teaching children of various ages and levels in ski programs and classes and other ski area activities as needed. This position promotes the sport of skiing with exceptional guest service by providing safe, enjoyable and effective group ski and individual ski lessons for kids.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Passion to teach cross country skiing to children, and willingness to learn new skills.
Minimum intermediate xc skiing skills or above.
Ability to assess and teach to a level appropriate to an assigned student or group’s abilities, fitness and needs.
Effective communication skills, oral and written.
Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness.

Nice To Haves

Current Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) membership recommended.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certifications recommended.
Ability to work midweek afternoons and weekends, holidays is preferred.
