Children's Services Assistant II (PreK) - Children Center

About The Position
Assists teachers at preschools and Children's Centers in a variety of programs and instructional and non-instructional activities, and performs routine clerical work as required. This posting is to fill multiple vacancies. Employees assigned to the Children Center will work up to 4 or 5.5 hours per day, with salary based on actual hours worked.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Two years of experience as a District Children's Services Assistant or equivalent, or other experience working with preschool- or school-aged children.
- Provide immunization records for influenza, pertussis, and measles.
Nice To Haves
- College units in child development or a related field from a regionally accredited postsecondary institution are preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak a language in addition to English, such as Armenian or Spanish, is highly desirable.
