About The Position
Richland Library is seeking to hire a Part-Time Children's Room Intern at our Main location. This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in a library setting, assisting with various tasks in the Children's Room. The role involves supporting staff with daily operations, customer service, and program assistance.
Requirements
- Rising high school senior or above
Responsibilities
- Sort and shelve returned children’s materials.
- Find and retrieve materials on hold for customers.
- Check-out and Check-in materials.
- Assist with the preparation of passive craft materials.
- Assist with the set-up, delivery, and clean-up of arts and craft programs.
- Assist with the maintenance of the space in the Children’s Room.
