About The Position

The Children's Ministry Campus Director will serve together with the Children’s Ministry Team at the respective campus location to teach and implement age-appropriate ministry for birth through 5th grade. This position will oversee the implementation of the weekend & Mid-Week Children’s Ministries. The CM Campus Director will provide a continuum of resources designed to equip children, volunteers and parents to grow deep in their personal relationship with God.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree - required - in ministry, education, or appropriate studies
• Experience in recruiting volunteers, writing and implementing faith based curriculum - 2+ years
• Experience in management and supervision - 2+ years
• Ability to develop, coach and empower leaders for multiplication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate well in cross-functional teams and projects across the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills in working with different personalities and leadership styles.
• Attend regular meetings and develop relationships that are mutually supportive on both a professional and personal level across all campuses.
• Ability to design worship services for school-aged children with in set standards.
• Ability to plan, supervise, and delegate staff & volunteers.
• A passion for the faith development of school-age families and for equipping volunteers.
• Ability to evaluate, provide constructive feedback for the pursuit of excellence
• Ability to effectively interact with staff regarding areas of responsibility and to lead training in large settings and one-on-one.
• Ability to design, develop and implement programs & ministries.
• A mature faith, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, commitment to the Teaching Statement and ministries of Hosanna, a signed Hosanna Leadership Covenant, and submission to Biblical authority along with membership in the congregation and worship at Hosanna are requirements for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the oversight of children’s ministry programming at the assigned campus, ensuring vision, strategy, and CM goals are implemented consistently in all weekend and midweek ministry.
• In collaboration with the central team, execute weekend ministry for children ages 6 wks - 5th grade, primarily through the recruiting and deployment of volunteer teams in each area of ministry.
• Provide primary presence during weekend and midweek sessions of year-round children’s ministry programming.
• Oversee supply preparation, room setup, clean up, and maintenance of the ministries.
• Responsible for recruiting, equipping, and coordinating volunteer teams for ministry.
• Work in collaboration with central teams and other church wide teams to plan, design, and support ministry events, weekend, and mid-week programming.
• Responsible for the regular communications with parents, volunteers and children through all forms of communications, as appropriate.
• Design, lead, equip and train Hosanna staff and volunteers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
