About The Position

The Little Gym of Fort Worth Southwest is a premier child development center that uses gymnastics, movement, and purposeful play to help children build confidence, develop new skills, and grow physically, socially, and emotionally. We are looking for a dependable, professional, and energetic individual who is interested in becoming a long-term member of our team. This is not simply a temporary coaching position—we are looking for someone who wants to build relationships with children and families, take ownership of their role, and grow with our business. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates confidently with adults, takes pride in providing an exceptional customer experience, and is looking for a position where they can make a meaningful impact every day. This position requires open availability, including evenings and weekends, and will typically provide 30–40 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in gymnastics, coaching, teaching, early childhood education, child development, physical education, recreation, or youth programming is a plus, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging gymnastics and child-development classes for children ages 4 months through 12 years using The Little Gym's established curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Create a positive, safe, structured, and encouraging environment for every child.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with our members and their families.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and help create the welcoming, family-centered experience our members expect.
  • Learn each child's individual needs and help them develop confidence, independence, physical skills, and a sense of accomplishment.
  • Work collaboratively with our leadership team and fellow instructors to maintain a high standard of programming and customer experience.
  • Assist with additional programs, special events, camps, birthday parties, and other gym operations as needed.
  • Take ownership of your responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of the gym.
