KidStrong Omaha Part time Children's Coach
About The Position
KidStrong Omaha is seeking enthusiastic and high-energy BabyStrong Children’s Coaches to join their expanding team. This role focuses on working with infants and toddlers (crawling to walking, typically ages 6 months to 1 year) to help build a strong foundation for life through purposeful movement and parent-child connection. The program aims to help babies grow strong, curious, and confident, accelerating their milestones. Coaches will lead classes, teach a science-backed curriculum, partner with parents, celebrate achievements, manage equipment, maintain a safe and clean environment, and utilize company apps for communication and data tracking.
Requirements
- A passion for working with infants and toddlers.
- Comfortable speaking to, educating, and guiding parents.
- Physically able to engage in a physically active shift, including lifting equipment up to 25 pounds, moving quickly, and staying hands-on for safety.
- CPR Certified.
- Self-starter attitude.
- Intermediate knowledge of exercise techniques/body mechanics.
- Willingness to obtain certified status through KidStrong HQ FranConnect training.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience coaching young age groups.
- Experience as a pediatric OT/PT.
Responsibilities
- Lead classes of 6 to 15 children, maintaining high energy, fun, and motivation.
- Teach the expert-developed, science-backed BabyStrong curriculum, focusing on brain, physical, and character development.
- Work hands-on with both babies and parents, guiding them on the floor, assisting with class flow, and explaining developmental milestones.
- Hand out awards and lead rank ceremonies to celebrate children's progress.
- Utilize KidStrong equipment (e.g., Krawlers, mats, wedge boxes) and other fun tools (e.g., parachutes, tunnels, blocks).
- Ensure the facility (blue floors, lobby, equipment) is clean, sanitized, and safe.
- Use the KS Coach’s App to track data, communicate with the team on Slack, and attend monthly staff training meetings.
