Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center (HVMHC) is a trusted leader in providing exceptional, person-centered behavioral health services to our communities. Founded in 1965 by a dedicated group of community members and government officials from Houston, Wabasha, and Winona counties, we have since expanded our services across Winona, Houston, Wabasha, Goodhue, and Fillmore counties. This role is within the Children's Community Based Services division. The primary function is to coordinate and provide community services for children and youth with mental health conditions who meet specific program eligibility requirements. The practitioner is responsible for ensuring individuals receive services as outlined in a comprehensive evaluation, educating and training individuals on basic skills, and referring them to necessary services and supports to achieve their service goals.
