Mobile - Children's Art Teacher
About The Position
Kidcreate Studio is seeking a Mobile Children's Art Teacher to lead engaging art classes, camps, workshops, birthday parties, and special events for children aged 18 months to 12 years. This role involves teaching both in the Wixom studio and at various mobile locations throughout the community, partnering with schools, parks & recreation departments, preschools, daycares, libraries, homeschool groups, and community organizations. The ideal candidate will create a fun, safe, positive, and encouraging environment where every child feels successful, fostering creativity and confidence. Responsibilities include preparing, organizing, and cleaning up art materials, following lesson plans with personal energy and enthusiasm, maintaining classrooms and supplies, and communicating professionally with parents, caregivers, school staff, and team members. The role requires representing Kidcreate Studio with professionalism and enthusiasm, and embracing the messy nature of art with children.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation is a must—you'll need your own vehicle for mobile programs.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, creative, and loves working with kids.
- Understands that our families count on us, especially during school breaks, no-school days, snow days, holidays, camps, and workshops.
- Can work independently while also being an outstanding team player.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Has excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Is proactive and enjoys finding solutions before problems arise.
- Has strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Doesn't mind getting a little messy—paint, clay, glitter, and slime are all part of the fun!
- Loves working with kids and believes creativity should be celebrated.
- Is comfortable being on their feet throughout the day and helping wherever needed.
- Is excited to support a fun, energetic team and help create unforgettable experiences for children and families.

Responsibilities
