About The Position
We’re looking for talented, enthusiastic art instructors to teach our exciting, new Kidcreate Academy art curriculum that helps students build real artistic skills over time. The role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with children and can confidently teach foundational art techniques in a fun, supportive environment.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in art (drawing, painting, color theory)
- Must submit a 5-10 piece art portfolio or website link with application
- Experience managing a classroom
Nice To Haves
- Degree or coursework in Art Education, Fine Arts, or Design
Responsibilities
- Teach structured art lessons that develop skills progressively over time
- Facilitate engaging classes for children of various ages and skill levels
- Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques
- Break complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps
- Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
