LSF is seeking a talented Childcare Partnership Supervisor who wants to make an impact in the lives of others. Purpose and Impact: The Childcare Partnership Supervisor will have oversight of record-keeping and monitoring systems and development of community child care partnerships. Works in collaboration with Head Start Director, program consultants/managers and community child care providers to deliver Early Head Start (EHS) services. Must meet requirements per Federal Head Start Performance Standards and any local, state and or agency policies and procedures. Participates in the HS/EHS Quality Assurance efforts. Essential Functions: Participates in the design of EHS internal structures, systems and policies. Ensures adequate systems in place to maintain highest quality of EHS services to children and families in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. Ensures consistency in EHS service delivery with attention to inclusive practices and integration of component areas; encourage continuous improvement of systems. Ensures coordination among service area components, across levels and within the organization. Participates in development of EHS program and Community Child Care interagency agreements and contracts. Prepares annual Program Information Report (PIR) as it relates to EHS. Monitor Child Care Partner (CCP) sites, classrooms and Family Day Care homes ensuring appropriate Infant & Toddler child development equipment, furniture and materials. Maintains inventory list for each child care partner site and family child care home. Monitors children’s files to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance with local, state, and Federal regulations. Monitors Child Care Partner activites, in collaboration with local program partners, ensuring CCP progress towards goal attainment in accredition, state regulations, certification and Health and Safety. Coordinate with content area staff for parent involvement, social services, health, nutrition,disabilities, and education services for compliance. Responsible for conducting follow up conferences with CCP Directors and Educators immediately following onsite visits. Establishes and maintains relationships and collaborations with public school districts, systems of higher education, and other community agencies and partners. Attends interagency organizational and planning meetings as appropriate. Participates in professional development activities and organized community events for Inkind and community awareness. Participates in the development of collaborations and facility development for future expansion of families and/or services. Assists Head Start Director in development of EHS-CCP program budgets. Participates in weekly Case Management Team meetings. Designs and delivers training in areas of expertise. Monitors formal performance appraisals and professional development training plans for each EHS-CCP. Designs the EHS CCP staff Training and Technical Assistance Plan and works in collaboration with Program leadership staff to incorporate into the larger grant overall T&TA plan. In collaboration with Program leadership, leads the design and ongoing grant application process specific to the EHS service area. Monitors Child Care Partners required license and education credentials for in accordance with LSF Children and Head Start Services policies and procedures. Monitor Child Care Partner required health & TB screenings. Initiate and process for verification of all purchases or expenditures, including but not limited to, consultants, Child Care Provider attendance (training) and purchase orders. Interact with members of the community, other agencies and Policy Council as needed. Makes regular formal presentations to parents, staff, and community groups to provide information and ensure collaboration and promote advocacy. Maintains strict confidentiality with respect to Early Head Start children, families and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures. Attends all workshops and meetings as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Attends all required staff and parent meetings and activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
