About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a Lead Teacher for our Before & After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a part-time, non-exempt position located at Mason Elementary School in Mason, NH. The role involves creating and facilitating hands-on activities, assisting students with homework, maintaining a safe and fun environment, and serving as a positive role model for children. The Lead Teacher will also communicate with parents, follow state and program regulations, and support administrative tasks. Requirements

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
• Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.

Responsibilities

• Creating and facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, art, and group activities
• Assisting students with homework
• Providing a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment
• Serving as a positive role model for children in the program
• Arriving prepared and remaining on-site until the last child is dismissed
• Communicating daily with parents and families via the Playground App
• Following state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
• Supporting attendance tracking, registration, and staffing as needed
