About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a Lead Teacher for their Before & After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves providing childcare for school-age children (ages 5–12) during working hours, with employer-paid childcare as a featured benefit. Requirements

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
• Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat
• Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children

Nice To Haves

• Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13

Responsibilities

• Creating and facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic enrichment, art, and group activities
• Assisting students with homework
• Providing a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment
• Serving as a positive role model for children in the program
• Arriving prepared and remaining on-site until the last child is dismissed
• Communicating daily with parents and families via the Playground App
• Following state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies
• Supporting attendance tracking, registration, and staffing as needed
