About The Position
The Nest Schools, founded in 2021, is a new Early Childhood organization operated by experienced early childhood professionals. Our vision is to raise a world of kind, healthy, happy, and inspired children and to be the worldwide leader in early childhood programs. We are seeking a School Director who values Early Childhood Education and believes in the professional development of educators. Each school is supported by a full-time curriculum and education specialist, and classroom budgets are provided for learning materials. The Nest Schools actively strives to be a "Best Workplace" through programs focused on WELLNESS, INNOVATION, KINDNESS, and FUN.
Requirements
- Previous Director Experience required, preferably in a large school.
- Early Childhood Education required.
- Director Credential preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a school within The Nest Schools organization.
- Embrace the idea that teachers are Early Childhood Professional Educators.
- Focus on the quality of programs and children, families, and staff.
- Manage classroom budgets for learning materials and crafts.
- Participate in Director Retreats for training and development.
- Engage in professional development opportunities such as NAEYC conferences and Nest Conferences.
- Fellowship with other directors regionally and throughout the company.
