About The Position

The Nest School is a new, innovative early childhood education program focused on fostering a lifetime of wellness, resilience, and creativity in children. We believe high-quality early education is driven by passionate and dedicated teachers. Our goal is to support our team's well-being both professionally and personally. Each Nest School location is seeking dynamic, energetic, and joyful leaders to serve as Education Coordinators. We have developed an inspired curriculum that includes "in-house" special instructional experiences in health and wellness, arts and music, and life skills. The Education Coordinator will deliver this proprietary curriculum through special classes to each classroom weekly. By moving between classrooms and collaborating with classroom teachers, Education Coordinators will act as role models for children and staff, ensuring program quality and providing additional support to teachers, children, and families. This role is part of the management team, responsible for training teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication. Additionally, Education Coordinators will assist the school's leadership team with daily administrative tasks, including opening and closing procedures, tours, answering phones, classroom coverage, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies.

Requirements

  • Meet all state and Nest School requirements to work with children.
  • Experience in teaching.
  • Ability to energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and dance routines.
  • Outgoing leader with a desire to spread joy and fun.
  • Current CDA Certificate, OR Associates or bachelor’s in education, OR Degree in unrelated field with current CDA certificate.
  • 3 years of Teaching/Childcare experience.
  • CPR Certification

Responsibilities
