About The Position

The Nest School is a new, innovative early childhood education program focused on fostering wellness, resilience, and creativity. We are seeking dynamic, energetic, and joyful leaders to join our team as Education Coordinators. This role involves delivering a proprietary curriculum with special instructional experiences in health and wellness, arts and music, and life skills to each classroom. The Education Coordinator will serve as a role model for children and staff, ensuring quality throughout the programs and providing additional support to teachers, children, and families. This position is part of the management team and will involve training teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques. Additionally, the role includes daily administrative tasks such as opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, classroom coverage, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies. A successful candidate will have teaching experience, be able to energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and dance routines, and be an outgoing leader with a desire to spread joy. Candidates must meet all state and Nest School requirements for working with children.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching.
  • Must meet all state and Nest School requirements, clearing them to work with children in the childcare setting.
  • Teaching/Childcare: 3 years (Required)
  • Current CDA Certificate, OR Associates or bachelor’s in education, OR Degree in unrelated field with current CDA certificate.
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver proprietary curriculum in special classes during the week to each classroom.
