About The Position

The Nest School is a new, innovative early childhood education program focused on fostering wellness, resilience, and creativity. We are seeking dynamic and joyful leaders to join our team as Education Coordinators. This role involves delivering a proprietary curriculum in special classes, serving as a role model for children and staff, and supporting classroom teachers. The Education Coordinator will be part of the management team, assisting with teacher training in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication. Daily administrative tasks include opening/closing procedures, touring, answering phones, classroom coverage, and curriculum supply management. A successful candidate will have teaching experience, be able to energetically model and participate in physical activities, and be an outgoing leader passionate about spreading joy. Candidates must meet state and Nest School requirements for working with children.

Requirements

Meet all state and Nest School requirements for working with children.
Experience in teaching.
Current CDA Certificate, OR Associates or bachelor’s in education, OR Degree in unrelated field with current CDA certificate.
3 years of Teaching/Childcare experience.
CPR Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Deliver proprietary curriculum in special classes to each classroom.
Serve as a role model for children and staff.
Ensure quality throughout programs.
Act as an additional level of support to teachers, children, and families.
Train teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques.
Assist with daily administrative tasks such as opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, classroom coverage, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies.
Energetically model and participate in athletic activities, deep stretches, active songs, and dance routines.
