About The Position

We are seeking a Childcare Cook to join our New Horizon Academy team at our beautiful Bennington school! Wage Range: $16.30/hr to $18.55/hr. This role involves working in a child-centered environment and requires a positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with food allergies/restrictions and willing to learn. New Horizon Academy has been a leader in early care and education for over fifty years, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and advocating for childhood resources. Requirements

• Full-time availability, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
• Positive work ethic and team-centered attitude.
• Comfortable working with food allergies/restrictions.
• Enjoy working in a child-centered environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the position.
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
• Meets position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
• Satisfies the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Provides proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.
• Ability to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
