About The Position
The Goddard School is looking for a Cook who loves to cook and children. The Cook is responsible for any food management delegated by the franchisee. The food handler must have good attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Requirements
- The ability to prepare food.
- The ability to communicate effectively with school personnel, children, and parents.
- Servsafe training.
Responsibilities
- Managing the food budget.
- Ensuring the safe handling and preparation of all foods.
- Preparing menus that include healthy lunches and snacks.
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, and snack per day for 185 children.
- Ensuring that the menus are always in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintaining appropriate portion sizes.
- Ordering food and paper products.
