Requirements
- High school diploma OR GED
- Previous kitchen experience
- Ability to pass all background checks
Nice To Haves
- Current ServSafe/Food Handler certificate
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing nutritious well-balanced meals, that meet food program requirements for items served
- Oversee the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen
- Manage monthly inventory on non-food items, such as cups, plates etc. as well as all food items needed for the food service order
- Disperse groceries, food service, and paper supply order to appropriate areas of the building
- Request items within budget for additional equipment needed to help maintain the kitchen and mealtimes on track and turn in request to the Center Director
- Assist in the classrooms as needed by relieving teachers for breaks and being an additional support resource
