About The Position
Join Chambliss Center for Children and work with children ages infant through 4 years old in a unique early learning classroom located inside Hamilton County Schools. These classrooms operate inside Hamilton County Schools but are managed by Chambliss Center for Children, creating an innovative partnership that helps expand access to high-quality early childhood education. Chambliss Center for Children is dedicated to shaping a brighter future for young people in our community. As a nonprofit organization, we provide high-quality early childhood education, foster care services, and transitional living programs for young adults. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and coworkers
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment
- Assist with classroom activities that support children's learning and development
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming classroom
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Support the teaching team with daily classroom responsibilities
