Childcare Assistant Director
About The Position

This role involves managing the daily operations of a childcare school, ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements and company policies. You will perform administrative duties, conduct tours for prospective families, maintain records, and support teachers in implementing the curriculum. The position also requires nurturing positive relationships with families, staff, and community representatives, and assisting in the classroom when needed.
Requirements
- EDU119 or NCECC certificate required.
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare center setting as an administrator required.
- Proficient computer skills in a variety of business-related programs, including Microsoft Office.
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education!
- Must be at least 21 years old
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Completion of Admin 1 & 2 coursework and experience managing a licensed childcare center preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help manage the daily operations of childcare school, ensuring we meet state licensing requirements and company policies.
- Perform administrative duties, give impactful tours to families, maintain records, ensure state licensing/policy compliance, and help keep everything running smoothly.
- Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.
- Support teachers in implementing our curriculum, enabling developmentally appropriate classrooms that spark curiosity and growth.
- Nurture positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing representatives, and the community.
- Work in the classroom when needed to assist and support staff.
