About The Position

Under the supervision of the Assistant Center Director, the Childcare Aide is responsible for performing the following tasks: JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and distribute the snacks daily to each classroom. * Distribute the lunches to each classroom. * Help to set up the classroom for the daily activities. * Assist in food preparation, serving and clean-up. * Assist with the program wherever else necessary as indicated by the Childcare Staff, Administration or Nursing staff. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have pre-employment medical exam and TB test.
Nice To Haves
- Lived experience as a person with a developmental or intellectual disability a plus.
- Some previous experience with children a plus.
