About The Position

TFI Family Services is hiring a full-time Relative-Kinship Worker for its KS Permanency / KS Case Management Department. The role promotes children’s well-being by teaching skills such as emotional regulation, healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and healthy communication. The worker partners with relative-kinship caregivers to train and support them and the children in their homes; facilitates kinship meetings; identifies potential kinship or relative placement options; provides on-call caregiver support and crisis intervention as needed; and coordinates community resources for children served. The average hourly rate is $16.63, including wages, incentives, bonuses, overtime, and shift differential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a child and family services field.
• At least two years of experience in child and family services.
• Complete a Predictive Index assessment as part of the application process; it takes approximately 5–7 minutes.
