About The Position
The WEST YMCA is seeking energetic, nurturing, team-players to join their Family Engagement team. This role involves providing safe and engaging, quality child care, acting as a positive role model for children, parents, and other staff, and leading age-appropriate activities with children. The position is described as 'Where Work is Play!'
Requirements
- Must be 16 or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent recommended.
Nice To Haves
- Red Cross Babysitting certificate.
- Course work in child development or related field.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and engaging, quality child care.
- Be a positive role model for children, parents, and other staff.
- Conduct age-appropriate activities with children.
