About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Child Watch Babysitters to provide a safe and engaging environment for children while their parents utilize YMCA facilities. This part-time position offers flexibility with various shifts available throughout the week, including evenings and Saturdays. A key benefit is our Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing you to access a portion of your earned wages on demand.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors).
• Prior childcare or babysitting experience required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire).
• New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire).

Nice To Haves

• Babysitting Certification is preferred.
